Yellow

This week's challenge at "Less is More" is "Yellow". Oddly enough, yellow used to be my favourite colour. (I now favour red.) I still love yellow flowers - there's something especially luminous about yellow flowers whether they be roses, daffodils, lilies, tulips, mums, or daisies. Yellow is such a happy colour!

Well, here is my interpretation of yellow. I used a Memory Box craft die called "Prim Poppy" to cut the floral image and another die called "Meadow Leaf" for the foliage. I coloured both with Copic markers and mounted multiple layers to give the images more of a 3D effect. In order to get an identical colour match for my sentiment, I coloured a scrap of Neenah paper with the same colour of yellow I used on the flower and then cut and stamped the tag. I attached the tag with some Scrapper's floss which I also coloured with my Copic marker. I know that the background paper looks rather bluish, however on the actual card it is a textured white card stock.

Until next time,
